I WANT to say a big thank you to staff at King George's Hall, Blackburn, for organising the series of concerts by the Liverpool Philharmonic and Halle Orchestras which began last month.
Liverpool Philharmonic played a superb concert. The only disappointing thing was the paltry attendance.
Speaking as an exile who has returned to God's county after 23 years in London, I was surprised at the lack of support, especially given the very reasonable prices.
So come on people, get down to King George's, or you might find there is no next season of concerts!
Finally, as a disabled person, I would like to say another big thank you to staff at the hall, who helped make this such a pleasurable experience.
PETER OWEN, Marabou Drive, Darwen.
