Man stabbed in the chest
A woman has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man was found in Carnforth with a stab wound.
Police were called just before 4pm on Friday (October 26) to reports of an assault outside the Hunts Spar Food Market at Highfield Road in Carnforth.
Police said officers and paramedics attended and a man was found with a stab wound to his chest.
He was taken by air ambulance to Royal Preston Hospital, where his condition was described as serious but stable.
