A PENSIONER was confronted in her home by burglars who pushed her to the ground and demanded money.
The 68-year-old was at her home in Oxford Drive, Knuzden, when the men burst in.
They stole £150 cash, a laptop, mobile phones and jewellery.
The woman was not injured but was left shaken by the incident.
Det Sgt Mark Winstanley said: “This was an unusual incident, particularly in this area, and I appeal to anyone who saw anything suspicious or knows who was responsible to contact the police.”
The incident happened at around 7pm on Thursday.
The two men were described as white and in their mid 20s.
One had a long thin face and was slim. He wore a black waterproof coat with the hood up and black gloves. He spoke with a local accent.
The second man was stocky and was wearing a black zip-up jacket, a black woollen hat and a black scarf with white markings, which was covering his face and neck.
