AN appeal has been launched by police for witnesses after a burglary at a church in Clayton-le-Moors.
Police said entry was forced through a door at the side of All Saints Church in Church Street.
The crime took place sometime between 10pm on Monday, September 25 and 8am on Tuesday, September 26.
A police spokesman said: "It looks like just over £20 in cash was taken along with chocolates."
Anyone with information is asked to get in touch online or on 101, quoting log number 298 of September 26th.
