SLITHERY snakes, a chinchilla and a chameleon were among the guests at an Oswaldtwistle School to mark 'Continent's Day'.
Rhyddings Business and Enterprise School has introduced a continent themed house system for pupils and staff so they can compete against each other throughout the year.
To mark the launch they took part in activities and workshops while Simon Airey from Corner Exotics brought in a range of weird and wonderful animals to demonstrate how the animals evolve, where they come from and how humans are affecting them and their natural habitats.
Anna Booth, who organised it, said: "The students were brilliant and really got into all of the different challenges."
