A 21-YEAR-OLD man was followed into his parents' Turton home and threatened by thieves in balaclavas who stole his mother's luxury car.
The student had arrived home from a night out in the early hours of Sunday when the offenders forced their way into the Crown Gardens home.
The thieves, dressed head to toe in dark clothing, smashed down the door at 2am, just seconds after he had arrived home.
Police say the thieves saw the student arrive home and targeted him deliberately to steal the Audi A3, worth £20,000, parked on the drive.
The man was threatened with violence and made to hand over the keys to the car, registration number MJ06 YSW.
