BROADHEAD Road, Edgworth, will be closed to all traffic by Blackburn with Darwen Council in order for contractors to carry out road resurf-acing work.
The road will be shut between 9.30am and 4.30pm from its junction with the Toby Inn for a distance of 620 metres, on Monday October 1 for around a week, or until the work is completed.
The alternative route for vehicles is via Moorside Road, Roman Road, Blackamoor Road, Haslingden Road, Jackson Height Road and Broadhead Road.
