POLICE have sent samples of DNA for testing to identify a man whose charred remains were found in a car.
The body of the man was found in a Hyundai car on the track leading to Turton Tower off Greens Arms Road, Darwen, last Monday.
The man is believed to be from the Bolton area.
Police are not treating his death as suspicious.
