WORK on a leaking spire at Edgworth Methodist Church should start in the summer.
The congregation has so far raised around £13,500 to fix the spire and is looking for around £5,000 more before work starts.
Treasurer Richard Pike said: "We have got to have up-to-date quotes as we didn't get it done last year as we hoped. The nearest quotes we have are £18,000 to £20,000."
