NORTH Turton Parish Council ‘strongly objected’ to plans to build seven detached eco-houses at Victoria Mill, in Station Road, Chapeltown.
At its last meeting, the council said: “There should be no re-building within the green belt. The proposed houses are not architecturally exceptional, are out of character with the area, and the proposal contains no provision for affordable housing.”
