AN American Bulldog which attacked another dog must be kept on a lead and muzzled when outside, a court has ruled in a civil action.
Lyndsey Harris, 21, of Silvester Road, Chorley, the owner of the bulldog, appeared before magistrates in the civil action which had been brought by Chorley Council.
The court heard that a lady was walking her two elderly dogs on Duke Street in September.
Two bulldogs ran across a play area and attacked one of the dogs.
The attack was so severe that the dog had to undergo surgery.
Harris was also ordered by the magistrates to pay court costs of £100.
