A SERVICE station has been closed after a fridge fire.
The blaze started just before 7am this morning at the premises in Hoghton Lane, Hoghton, and saw fire crews from across Lancashire called to fight the flames.
The building was badly damaged by fire and smoke after flames spread from the fridge to the ceiling of the property.
Police also attended the incident to offer support to the fire service and keep the area around the fire safe.
Nobody was injured in the blaze.
An investigation is now underway as to how the fire started.
