The best dressed homes this Christmas can take inspiration from Clitheroe’s legendary interiors hub, The Emporium, at its annual festive preview event on Thursday October 25.

A longstanding date on many Ribble Valley diaries, The Emporium’s Christmas Preview offers a showcase of the best looks, festive trimmings and gift ideas for the season of goodwill.

Collections of present ideas and adornments for the home and table will be unveiled at the event, which marks the official start of the Christmas period for the renowned interiors shop and its upstairs brasserie.

Interiors manager Holly Tyne said: “We have a number of the hottest seasonal trends showcasing on October 25, including a Nordic Christmas, Alice in Wonderland for the children, glass and sparkly, pinks and purples plus a display of beautiful wooden decorations.”

The Emporium has something for everyone with gift ideas including jewellery covering every price point from £10 up to £50+, watches, luxury lotions, reed diffusers and candles from Neom Organics and L’Occitane. Sculptures from Libra, pictures, scarves and hats are also expected to be popular choices for stocking fillers as well as main gifts.

The preview event starts at 9.30am with the shop open right through to 8pm. Mulled wine will be served throughout the afternoon and there will be live music from female jazz pop vocalist, Poppy Holiday, who will play in the brasserie from 8pm.

Said Holly: “We are looking forward to a fantastic day and evening, kickstarting Christmas, one of our favourite times of year. We are excited to show off our beautiful new stock and help customers to dress their homes and tick off their present lists with perfect gifts.”

The Emporium offers a unique mixture of dining, interiors and retail and famously, everything you see inside the building is for sale except the staff!
