VAMPIRE Vape, the Darwen-based e-liquid manufacturer, last week clinched two trophies at the prestigious BIBA Awards; the star-studded event in Blackpool.

The business received five nominations and won in the coveted Manufacturer of the Year and Exporter of the Year categories.

Company Director, Philip Boyle, was delighted with the outcome: “This is fantastic recognition for our business and a huge achievement, as we were only founded six years ago,” said Mr. Boyle.

“It’s quite humbling when you consider that we operate in Lancashire, a region with a rich legacy that is renowned for manufacturing excellence and which exports to the world!”

Vampire Vape was established in 2012 and became a limited company, Flavour Warehouse Ltd., in 2013. Since that time, the business has become a trusted brand with hundreds of thousands of loyal customers around the world and an expanding array of unique flavours – all of which are manufactured in Lancashire and compliant with the highest regulatory standards.

Besides the widely recognised Vampire Vape brand, the business manufactures over 20 different ranges and offers contract bottling services and OEM, enabling them to cover all aspects of their client’s requirements and build long-term working relationships.

“We started with 12 flavours and we regularly trial and release new flavours - which has seen our standard range grow to 54 flavour options and a back catalogue of over a thousand more,” added Mr. Boyle.

“We will continue to develop new ranges and flavours to keep in line with current trends and responding to the feedback of users and our business partners.

“We are constantly looking for opportunities to expand and grow for the mutual benefit of our customers, suppliers and staff. Approximately fifty percent of our business is exports and currently we have members of our team on a "world tour" - they've been in South Korea, South Africa and Miami, trying to extend our global reach.

“We’ve built our business around certain key values – we are proud to support people so they can use our products as a means of harm reduction, relative to traditional tobacco products.

“This means we have to challenge some of the perceptions about vaping, as we see it as a critical weapon in the armoury of people who use traditional tobacco products and are actively seeking to reduce harmful effects. We see vaping as a means of managing your nicotine habit, whilst radically reducing the harmful effects of smoking.

“I hope our BIBA Award wins will help us take that message further and enable us to assist many more people that want to stop smoking,” said Mr. Boyle.
