Longworth has officially been awarded the Made in Britain marque along with less than 1,000 other British manufacturers, including some household names in everything from kitchen roll to wind turbines, vans to shoes, coffee machines to Bio Beans across a wide range of sectors.

Made in Britain aims to bring together the entire manufacturing community in the UK. They aim to help businesses benefit in their sales, marketing, exports and PR. The network helps encourage and develop the supply chain of British made goods. The staff of these manufacturers can also take advantage of member-2-member offers.

The Application Process

Our membership application involved a detailed application form, followed by a telephone interview. The aim? To ascertain that what we produce is truly made right here, in Britain.

Due to our pyrolysis burn off ovens and DEECOM® being fabricated right here in Lancashire, Longworth has been accepted as officially Made in Britain. We’re really pleased and proud that this process resulted in Longworth being accepted into the membership. This means that we’re now in the directory and can be found by customers in the UK and globally who know that they want to buy British.

Made in Britain promotes us globally, where a lot of our markets are found. It promotes British products, British manufacturing, British jobs and British employers, all close to our hearts – what’s not to like?
