A HAPTON school has been given an ‘outstanding’ rating following an inspection.
Hapton Church of England Methodist Primary School in Manchester Road was given the top grade following an inspection by the Anglican and Methodist Schools body, which evaluates the effectiveness of church schools.
A spokesman said: “The highly effective and distinctively Christian leadership of the headteacher, senior leaders and governors influences all aspects of school development.
“Christian values are deeply embedded within the life of Hapton School.
“As a result pupils are happy, achieve well and show positive attitudes to learning.
“The school’s commitment to the personal development and well-being of all pupils is exemplary.”
