AN EAST Lancashire couple have raised over £400 for a hospice as part of their silver wedding celebrations.
Susan and Simon Gregory, of Glen View Road, Burnley, celebrated 25 of years of marriage by collecting £435 in donations for Pendleside Hospice, Reedley, in memory of Susan's mother Jean Cook.
Over 80 people attended the celebrations at Ighten Lea Social Club in Padiham Road, Burnley, and many of them contributed to the good cause.
The money was presented to assistant fundraiser at the hospice Liz Dalglish.
