A NURSERY celebrated its 10th birthday with a pirates and princesses party.
There were party games, party food and lots of fun at St Mary’s Nursery, Blackburn
The highlight of the day was a surprise visit from ‘Captain Jack Sparrow and his sidekick’ and Belle from Beauty and the Beast.
Area manager Tracy Ellet said: “Over the past 10 years many children have passed through the doors of St Mary’s Nursery.
“We are especially proud of their positive attitude to learning and their educational attainment.
“The end of foundation stage (Reception) results from our 2016 leavers show that 82 per cent of St Mary’s children achieved a good level of development or above.
“St Mary’s Nursery @ Wensley Fold’s most recent Ofsted report graded us as an Outstanding Early Years provision.
“We are currently awaiting in anticipation for our next Ofsted inspection.”
