POLICE are appealing for information following a burglary at a Blackburn travel agents where several offenders have targeted an ATM machine.
The incident occurred on Thursday (October 5th) at around 1.35am, at a premises on Whalley New Road.
The burglars got into the building from the rear of the property and dismantled the CCTV before using power tools to cut open the ATM machine.
The machine had been emptied earlier so no cash was taken.
The offenders left the scene empty-handed.
DC Helen O’Rourke, of Blackburn Police, said: “Our enquiries are ongoing into this incident and we would like to speak to anybody with information about it.
"If you know who may be responsible, or if you were in the area at the time and saw either people or vehicles which seemed suspicious, please get in touch as soon as possible.”
