WORRIED friends of a Darwen man who is missing from home say his disappearence is ‘completely out of character’.
Police have released an appeal for information about the whereabouts of 53-year-old Edward Sutton. He was reported missing from his house in Cloister Drive as he had not been seen since 3.30pm on Saturday after spending the afternoon out walking.
DS Kate Kennedy from Blackburn Police said: “We are concerned about his welfare.
“I would appeal to anybody that thinks they may have seen him or anyone that has been in contact with to call police.”
Mr Sutton is described as being white, medium build with short grey hair, clean shaven with a pale complexion. He was last seen wearing tracksuit bottoms with trainers and was carrying a black and yellow back pack. Call police on 101.
