AIR ambulance crews were called to help rescue a 15-year-old boy who fell off his bike in Gisburn Forest.
Bowland and Pennine Mountain Rescue Team and the Cave Rescue Organisation, the mountain rescue team in Yorkshire, were called to the scene at around 9.45am yesterday.
The 15-year-old was transported to the Royal Blackburn Hospital , where he received treatment for a suspected fractured shoulder. It is not thought his injuries were life-threatening.
