A SECTION of the M65 was closed after an accident which saw a car flip onto its roof.
The male driver of the car was taken to Royal Blackburn Hospital with minor injuries following the one-vehicle incident near junction six at Whitebirk at around 7.20pm.
Police closed the eastbound carriageway of the motorway between junctions six and seven while the road was cleared.
Diversions were out in place but there were no reports of major delays.
