AN East Lancashire student is appealing for votes after she won a place in the final of a national beauty competition.
Holly Hunter, 16, was spotted by modelling scouts while at the Clothes Show in Birmingham in December and asked to send in some photographs.
The St Wilfrid’s High School sixth form student, of Adelaide Terrace, Blackburn, is now down to the final 100 out of 19,500 hopefuls for the title of Miss Teen Queen UK, but needs people to vote for her to help her win the contest.
Holly’s grandfather George Coughlin said he was very proud of his granddaughter.
He added: “We are thrilled, she is absolutely stunning. She is so modest it is untrue, she just can’t believe it.”
