ALAN Davies, star of QI and Jonathan Creek, is to come to Blackburn as part of his first stand-up tour in over 10 years.
Last night Davies announced that he would be touring the UK when he appeared on the Graham Norton TV show.
As part of that 45-date tour, he will play King George’s Hall on Thursday, October 25.
Now better known as a panellist and actor - Jonathan Creek won a prestigious Bafta award for best drama - Davies began his career as a stand-up comedian, winning the critic’s award at the Edinbuirgh Festival in 1994.
At the end of last year his Life is Pain tour played to sold out venues across Australia.
Tickets for the Blackburn show, priced £25 are on sale now. Details from the box office on 0844 847 1664.
