A JEALOUS man turned up at his ex-wife's in the early hours, put her window through and demanded to know who was in her bed, a court was told.
Burnley magistrates heard how drunken Andrew Quinn, 42, also threatened to smash mother-of-three Charity Donohoe's car up, scaring the youngsters, who he was said to regard as his own.
Quinn regularly went round to the victim's home uninvited after the end of their violent marriage two years ago, it was claimed.
The defendant, of Springfield Avenue, Bacup, admitted two counts of damage on February 28.
He was bailed until October 19, for medical reports.
Elizabeth Read, prosecuting, said Ms Donohoe had been married to the defendant five years, he had been violent to her many times and they split in August, 2004.
At about 2am she was awoken by her daughter saying Quinn had put the window in.
She ran into the lounge, pulled back the curtains and the defendant was standing outside. He asked: "Who's in your bed?" and threatened to smash her car.
David Lawson, defending, described Quinn and Ms Donohoe's relationship as turbulent and "on and off".
