LANCASHIRE Probation Service is looking for new members to scrutinise its work.
The seven recruits, from local communities, will oversee the work of the service.
The candidates should have experience in business, public or voluntary sectors.
Tony Fowles, Lancashire Board's retiring chairman, said "It is important that these people reflect the diverse community, and so we will be actively looking for people who come from many different backgrounds."
