WITNESSES are urged to come forward after £10,000-worth of copper wiring was stolen from a sub-station in Hoddlesden.
The break-in, where police said thieves risked their lives, happened between 8pm and midnight on September 17 at Carus' Mill.
Up to 20 properties in Johnson New Road, powered by the 6,000 volt sub-station were left without power overnight.
Police appealed for witnesses earlier this month, but officers still need fresh information to progress their investigation.
Anyone with information should call Darwen CID on 01254 353842.
