THE funeral of Madison Allan will take place at Blackburn Cathedral on Thursday, January 5.
The seven-year-old died on Boxing Day after battling Neuroblastoma most of her life.
A horse-drawn carriage will leave Madison’s home, in Lord’s Crescent, Lower Darwen, at 11.45am, arriving at the Cathedral at 12.30pm.
Her grandmother Alison Foster said: “We would like anybody who knew Madison, supported her, or donated to fundraisers, to attend if they wish.
"Madison loved the colour pink, so we’re asking people to wear a splash of pink for the day. This is a celebration of her life.”
A private family burial will follow at Darwen Eastern Cemetery.
Blackburn with Darwen Council has given special permission for a new area of the site to be opened up for use.
