A LEARNER driver who flipped his car after speeding over a canal bridge in Burnley has been fined £335.
Shaun David Anness, 24, was driving along Barden Lane when he lost control of his Mazda MX5, magistrates in Burnley were told.
The car hit a telegraph pole and overturned, ending up in the garden of a nearby house.
Anness and his front-seat passenger were slightly hurt.
The car had no L plates displayed.
Anness, of Waidshouse Road, Nelson, admitted driving without due care, having no insurance and driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence.
He was fined £335 with a £15 victim surcharge.
