THE Moor End Post Office in Union Road, Oswaldtwistle, is set to close down - and move 300 metres along the street.
The move comes after the resignation of the sub-postmaster at the branch and the new office will be located in the Co-op store, also in Union Road.
The date for the move has not yet been announced.
A Post Office spokesman said: "As well as helping to safeguard our presence in the area, this relocation will provide a number of customer benefits.
"The new branch will have a modern serving counter, level access and free off-road parking.
"It will offer the same range of services, including free personal banking, foreign currencies and benefit payments in cash."
Opening hours will be unchanged following the move.
