Time is running out to nominate voluntary groups in Lancashire to win the prestigious Queen's Award for Voluntary Service.
The nomination period for the award, given annually and designed to reward those groups of volunteers who devote their time to improving the quality of life for others, ends September 30.
If you know a volunteering group that is really making a difference to your community, then nomination forms for the 2007 Queen's Award for Voluntary Service are available from www.queensawardvoluntary.gov.uk or by calling 0845 000 2002.
