An Earby thief who stole champagne and cosmetics was sentenced to 60 days in jail, suspended for 12 months.
Gareth Thomas, 23, said to have an extensive record, was told by Burnley magistrates he was a persistent offender and habitual thief.
Thomas, of Rushton Lane, admitted two counts of theft.
He was also given 12 months supervision.
