CHILDREN in Burnley are feeling safer then ever after completing a road safety programme.
Pupils from Burnley schools St Peter's CE Primary School, Ightenhill County Primary School and Christ the King RC Primary School participated in the Right Start pedestrian training programme.
Organised by Lancashire County Council's Road Safety Group, the programme saw the children aged between four and seven put through their paces in a bid to make encourage them to stop, look and listen when crossing a road.
