BURNLEY Market Hall is back open for business as usual after cockroaches forced its closure on Friday.
The shopping area , in Charter Walk, was shut as a precaution following a complaint to Environmental Health.
A number of stalls were treated for the infestation and the situation was assessed on Saturday morning before the Hall was re-opened.
A spokesman for Burnley Council said: "We apologise for any inconvenience this unforeseen circumstance caused but public health and safety comes first and the council must act responsibly."
