VOLUNTEERS are still needed to fill a range of roles at Turton Tower.

Reception and shop stewards are needed to welcome visitors and assist with ticket sales and mechandising in the shop.

Period room stewards are needed to supervise visitors to rooms within the tower.

Although an interest in history and experience in customer services or retail is seen as an advantage, anyone with good communications skills is welcome to apply.

Training will be provided by tower staff.

The tower is open Wednesday to Sunday afternoons from April to October and volunteers would need to commit to a regular shift every week or fortnight.
