AN opticians is seeking a model with specs appeal to open a new store in Blackburn.
Staff at Specsavers in Blackburn said farewell to their King William Street home on Saturday by spending the day searching for the town’s sexiest specs wearer to invite as guest of honour to open their new store.
Specsavers, located in King William Street for more than 15 years, will be reopening in The Mall shopping centre.
To mark the occasion, staff sp;ent Saturday seeking models to enter in the Spectacle Wearer of the Year competition.
A winner is still to be picked to be Blackburn’s Spectacle Wearer of the Year and will be invited to cut the ribbon to declare the new store open.
