A MAN has been charged in connection with an incident in which a high-powered car hit a bus stop.
Asif Hussain, 40, of Audley Range, Blackburn, was due to appear before Blackburn Magistrates Court today accused of driving without due care and attention.
The incident happened in Accrington Road, Blackburn, on Friday, June 24, when a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo left the road and hit a bus stop.
Two men waiting for a bus were hit, one suffering a broken leg.
The car had five men inside.
