A DIFFERENT look could be on the cards for a Ramsbottom primary school, if new proposals find favour with councillors.
Governors at St Joseph’s Primary, in Queen Street, have submitted plans for a two-storey extension which will provide four classrooms.
School leaders say that six out of seven of the existing classrooms do not meet current design standards, particularly in terms of floor space.
Under the scheme a toilet block will be demolished but replaced on the site of one of the existing classrooms.
