A BACUP man has been found dead in his home.
Daniel Jones, 39, of Blackthorn Lane, was found by a friend shortly after 3pm on July 20.
Police attended the scene and initially arrested a 28-year-old man on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a controlled substance and unlawful killing.
The man was later released without charge.
A Home Office post-mortem examination was carried out to determine the cause of death but police say early indications show it was drug related.
An inquest into Mr Jones’s death was opened and adjourned on Monday for toxicology tests.
