A BLACKBURN plastics specialist is aiming to expand after agreeing a £3.7million finance package.
Weltonhurst, based at a 100,000sq ft manufacturing and distribution plant in Blackburn, specialises in technical plastic blow mouldings to over 75 clients in the UK.
The firm has agreed a deal with Yorkshire Bank’s Investing for Growth initiative in a bid to increase turnover from £8.6 million to £10 million in the year.
Andrew Fish, Weltonhurst financial controller, said: “We have been delighted with the support from Yorkshire Bank and have developed a really good relationship with the team there. With the financial support, and more flexible banking arrangements, the management team can now concentrate on the core activities of the business.”
