MEMBERS of the ‘Old Accringtonians’ are hunting for new members to help find old copies of a school magazine.
The organisation, made up of former pupils of Accrington Grammar School, is hoping to upload copies of the magazine to the internet.
The Accringtonian was published between 1950 and 1975 and there are original copies deposited in Accrington library.
However the issues for 1954, 1970 and 1971 are missing and it is hoped that someone with copies surplus to their requirements will give them to the library.
Membership secretary Bob Dobson said “Copies can be sent to me or left in Accrington library.
"There will still be plenty of old boys living in the Accrington area, but I will be pleased to hear from, or of, them no matter where they are.
"I regularly put former classmates in touch with each other.”
