RIBBLE Valley residents are being invited to have their say on the borough’s future development at an open day today.
The event will give an overview of Ribble Valley Council's development framework, which will guide all planning developments for the next 15 years.
Information will include where new development might take place, affordable housing, housing for the elderly, employment, the economy and the environment.
The proposals will be on view plus residents can meet planners and discuss the documents which are the subject of a public consultation that runs until Friday August 12.
Colin Hirst, Ribble Valley's head of regeneration and housing, said: “Planners will be on hand to talk through the documents and explain anything that residents don't understand.”
The event will be held in the Ribble Valley Civic Suite in Church Street from 10am to 7.30pm/ Further details are available from Ribble Valley Borough Council on 01200 425111.
