The National Home Improvement Show is returning for its third year to London’s Earls Court from September 30 - October 2, 2011. This year’s show is the largest yet with a host of new and inspiring zones aimed at the serious home improver. However big your project, you’ll find everything you need all under the one roof with the latest home improvement ideas, interior design and advice from over 300 leading companies. Soak up demonstrations on inspirational products and services to enhance your home and create that living space you’ll be proud to call home.

The new zones offering innovative and exciting elements to sink your teeth into at this year’s National Home Improvement Show include Julia Kendell’s Interiors Pavilion. Interiors expert, Julia Kendell (DIY SOS & ITV1’s Daybreak) brings together those all important finishing touches that complete your project and create that wow factor. The Home Entertainment & Technology Zone showcases the most up-to-date technology into your home with the world of luxury home cinema, multi-room hi-fi, games rooms and the latest in home communications, intercom, CCTV, security and automated lighted gates just to name a few. The Eco Home Zone inspires ‘Ecological’ living, delivering information on sustainable products, how to save energy, lowering your bills and reducing carbon emissions through insulation. In addition, learn about alternative heating systems and the benefits of incorporating natural products into the home.

The show is also jam-packed with interactive stands including the Tricks of the Trade by a resident DIY Doctor with step-by-step tutorials for you to pick up handy hints and tips and gain the confidence to undertake some of the more basic home improvement tasks. If you’re looking to transform your Victorian wreck or turn a building into a contemporary living space then drop by the Period Property Pavilion for advice from Period Living magazine experts on how to sympathetically add new space or modernise a traditional property without compromising its existing charm and character.
