A BLACKBURN town centre restaurant has been shortlisted for an award for working with deaf people.
The Courthouse, in King Street, is nominated for the Training Scheme for Deaf Young People.
The project is run by East Lancashire Deaf Society in a bid to improve job opportunities, improve social inclusion and raise awareness of issues.
The competition is in association with ITV and the Jubilee People’s Millions.
Voting opens on Tuesday, June 28 from 6pm, and the local project needs people’s votes.
