A HUSBAND has been charged over an alleged attack on his wife in their own home.
Adam Dyer, 23, of Whalley Road, Clayton-le-Moors, was charged in the early hours of Tuesday morning and was due before Blackburn magistrates yesterday.
Dyer was arrested after he crashed at the junction of the M55 and M6 heading towards Blackpool around 6.30am on Monday.
His wife Carrie Dyer, 27, had called the emergency services 30 minutes earlier and was found with suspected stab wounds to her head.
Dyer has been charged with a section 18 wounding with intent, making threats to kill and a historic assault.
