THE Bowland Brewery, based in Bashall Town, near Clitheroe, has scooped a prestigious national award.
It won the Championship Best Bitter title at the Society of Independent Brewers (SIBA) National Best Beer competition with its Admiral of the Blues, a golden ale.
More than 1,400 beers were entered in the contest.
