A BARBECUE manufacturing firm is celebrating its 25th anniversary.
Burnley-based Bar-Be-Quick, which pioneered the instant barbecue, has launched a limited edition product to celebrate.
The pack will be stamped with a ‘Made in Britain for 25 years’ mark and will be sold in major stores including Asda.
Some 60 million instant barbecues have been made in 25 years at Bar-Be-Quick parent company Rectella International’s HQ in Bancroft Road.
Chairman David Eventhall said: “We’re extremely proud of our British heritage and are delighted to be celebrating the instant barbecue’s 25th anniversary.
“We’re very much looking forward to the next 25 years and are already excited about what they may hold.”
