COMMUNICATIONS firm Daisy said it is trading as expected after a flurry of acquisitions.

In a trading update to the stock market, the company, of the Lomeshaye industrial estate in Nelson, said results would meet investors’ expectations.

A statement said: “Performance in the second half of the year (is) significantly ahead of that seen in the first half.”

In recent months, Daisy has swooped for telecoms rivals Telinet and Ipitomi.
