COUNCIL tax payers in Burnley will be able to pay their tax in weekly instalments from this month.
Burnley Council is introducing the new way of paying council tax to make it easier for residents who manage a weekly budget.
Coun Margaret Lishman said: “Some people prefer to manage their household finances on a weekly, not a monthly basis.
“This weekly direct debit option for their council tax payments will enable them do that.”
