A THREE car smash is causing traffic problems on the A59 this morning.
The A59 was closed after the accident at 9.31am while police, ambulance and the fire service attended the scene.
Police said that motorists in the Vauxhall Meriva, Ford Mondeo and the Honda Accord sustained minor injuries.
They said a fourth vehicle, yet undisclosed, had also been involved but had failed to stop at the scene.
However, the road between Cuerdale Lane, Samlesbury, and Osbaldeston Lane is blocked in both directions.
It is unclear when the road will reopen.
